Yes, it was a long time ago (1989), but it is still a good read!

Ben Bennett's book is a collection of several years of mostly humorous columns in the Collingwood Enterprise-Bulletin newspaper.
The guru reference was a way to get Collingwood on the cover and so make the book irresistible to tourists. Well, it was a good theory.
