The Palmer Street Ecology Project is an alternative planting and garden demonstration project located on a former hydro substation lot in Guelph, Ontario. The garden is cared for by community volunteers. The purpose project is to demonstrate ways to reduce our gardening footprint by using less water and fossil fuel and encouraging biological diversity.
